Hyderabad and Hague to exchange best practices in key technologies

Both the parties collaborated on several Cyber Security initiatives and there has been a continuous exchange of ideas. Both sides have now come together to expand the scope of our partnership.
In this regard, a delegation of Municipality of Hague visited Hyderabad, led by their Deputy Mayor, Mrs. Saskia Bruines.
The delegation was hosted for a discussion by Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department and Mr. Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police. New avenues of the partnership were identified in skilling, research, innovation, cyber law, and enforcement. The Hague city and Hyderabad, both global hubs of innovation in their own right, have decided to work on exchanging best practices and knowledge.
“We are constituting a joint focus group, with representatives of both parties to ensure these discussions pan out into actionable deliverables,” said Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department.
The idea is to proactively drive collaboration between Hyderabad’s T-Hub, Police Commissionerate, IIITH, Horticulture Department, Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security and The Hague’s Municipality, HagueTech, Innovation Quarter, Greenport and world startup factory.
