‘Gateway IT Park’ to boost IT sector in Northern part of Hyderabad
IT & Industries Minister Sri KTR and Labour Minister Sri Malla Reddy laid foundation stone for ‘Gateway IT Park’ in Kandlakoya, Hyderabad
The Telangana Government has come up with Growth in Dispersion (GRID) policy with a view to promote dispersed growth across Hyderabad. Special incentives are offered to companies that expand or set up their units beyond Western part of Hyderabad. IT parks in Uppal, Pocharam, Kompally, Kollapur, Shamshabad are under development while two electronic manufacturing clusters (EMCs) are being developed at Maheshwaram and Raviryal.
Minister for IT Sri KT Rama Rao and Labour & Employment Minister Sri Ch. Malla Reddy laid the foundation stone for Gateway IT Park in Kandlakoya, Hyderabad on on 17 February, 2022. More than 70 companies have applied for space in the Park.
Ministers KTR and Sri Ch. Malla Reddy laid the foundation stone for expanding Genpact Campus in Uppal in alignment with the GRID Policy.

Reinforcing the Telangana government’s efforts to de-congest Hyderabad, IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao, on Wednesday, urged investors to look towards the east and north of the city too.
Giving a new fillip for development of the IT industry in Hyderabad, the State Cabinet approved a Grid policy (Growth in Dispersion) to ensure that the companies are spread across the city.
