IT and Industries Minister KTR inaugurated the IndiaJoy – Asia’s Biggest Digital Entertainment Festival happening in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Minister for IT, Sri KT Rama Rao, held wide-ranging meetings with captains of IT industry, academia and government to formulate strategy for the growth of IT sector in Telangana as soon as he assumed office in 2014.
The IT Minister along with his team of senior officials of the Department covered major countries from Japan to USA promoting Telangana as the ideal investment destination. Thanks to the Department’s unflinching and consistent efforts, several technology majors have either started investing in Telangana or have expanded their existing operations by manifold.
Telangana has become the most preferred destination in the country thanks to the path-breaking TSiPASS and other business-friendly ICT policies. Telangana today is home to more than 1500 IT/ ITeS firms including the five of the top 10 most valuable tech companies in the world – Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Alphabet (Google), Meta (Facebook).
